About Ms. Anasuya
Ms. Anasuya Dasgupta is a compassionate clinical psychologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India. With an RCI-accredited M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from the Central Institute of Psychiatry, she brings strong clinical grounding and a deeply trauma-informed lens to her work.
Anasuya is known for her steady, empathetic presence and her ability to create a therapeutic space that feels both emotionally safe and gently transformative. Her work is rooted in somatic awareness and attachment science, helping clients understand how early relational patterns and nervous system responses shape present-day experiences.
She integrates Somatic approaches, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused frameworks to support clients in processing trauma, regulating overwhelming emotions, and building secure internal and external relationships. Her style is collaborative and paced — allowing healing to unfold in a way that feels embodied, sustainable, and deeply respectful of each individual’s story.
Anasuya works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples navigating trauma, substance use concerns, relationship distress, mood and anxiety disorders, and personality-related challenges. For her, the therapeutic alliance is not just important — it is the foundation upon which all meaningful healing rests.
Clients often describe her as grounding, intuitive, and quietly reassuring — someone who helps them feel understood before helping them feel better.
