A gentle, effective way for younger children to process feelings they don't yet have the words for. Our RCI-registered team helps children work through anxiety, big emotions, and difficult experiences through play.
Young children often can't explain what's bothering them in words, but they can show it through play. Play therapy gives them a safe, natural way to process feelings, and gives our team a window into what's really going on.

If this feels familiar, play therapy is often exactly the kind of support that helps.
Play therapy is a structured therapeutic approach that uses play, rather than conversation, as the primary way a child communicates and processes feelings. Toys, drawing, storytelling, and pretend play become the language of the session. A trained therapist observes patterns and themes in how a child plays, gently supports emotional processing, and helps build coping skills, all at a pace the child sets. It is typically used with younger children, roughly ages 3 to 10, though the right approach depends on the individual child.
Play therapy is often used alongside other work our team does with children, not as a separate track.
Helping young children process worry, fear, or overwhelm they can't yet name.
Used with younger children to understand what's really behind resistance to school.
A new sibling, a move, a loss, or a change in family structure.
Supporting children who are naturally quieter or find words difficult in general.
Our play therapy sessions are conducted by clinicians experienced in working with young children.

Coach For Mind has supported families across Gurgaon and India since 2016. For younger children especially, that means a team that understands play isn't just play, it's how young children work through what's on their minds.
